PRISM (Predictive Role Intelligence & Skills Matching) is InterviUni's proprietary candidate profiling system. Unlike every assessment tool on the market, PRISM is not a test you take once and forget. It is a living, five-dimensional profile that grows more accurate with every session you complete — and maps your real performance to the IT roles you are genuinely built for.
Questionnaires measure how people want to be seen, not how they actually perform. Socially desirable answers inflate every score.
A test taken on a Tuesday when you're tired and anxious tells employers nothing about who you are three months of practice later.
Most assessment platforms work for the employer, not the candidate. You take the test, they keep the results. You never see them again.
Generic corporate frameworks weren't built for the difference between a Cloud Engineer and a Security Analyst. They treat all technical roles the same.
Every PRISM score is calculated from something you did on InterviUni — not something you said about yourself. No surveys. No self-ratings. No personality guesses.
Technical Depth is calculated from your certification course completions and quiz scores on InterviUni. It reflects verified knowledge across Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, and GCP domains. Unlike a LinkedIn skill endorsement (which anyone can give you) or a self-declared proficiency level, this score is earned by completing structured learning and passing scored assessments. Volume matters too — breadth across multiple certifications raises your ceiling.
EQ Score comes from your CORE EQ Assessment — InterviUni's proprietary adaptive coaching module that blends 8 research-backed frameworks: Goleman's 5-Domain EQ, Mayer-Salovey-Caruso 4-Branch, Bar-On EQ-i 2.0, STAR Behavioral Method, Brené Brown Vulnerability Framework, Dweck Growth Mindset Theory, DiSC Behavioural Indicators, and Positive Intelligence PQ. The InterviUni IQ Engine scores your answers across four dimensions: Consciousness (self-awareness), Ownership (accountability), Resonance (empathy), and Evolution (growth mindset). Traditional EQ tests are static self-report questionnaires that take 30–45 minutes and cost $150+. CORE EQ is adaptive, conversational, IT-specific, and free.
Communication Style is derived from your mock interview sessions. Every answer you give is scored by the InterviUni IQ Engine against the real expectations of an IT interviewer — structure, clarity, specificity, use of STAR format, technical accuracy, and confidence signal. The aggregate score across all your sessions reflects how effectively you communicate under interview conditions. This is more meaningful than any written test: it measures your ability to articulate ideas in the moment, which is exactly what employers evaluate.
Stress Resilience is measured by your ratio of HIRE verdicts across all interview sessions. A HIRE verdict means the InterviUni IQ Engine evaluated your overall performance as hire-ready — not just a good individual answer. If you consistently get HIRE verdicts across different roles, levels, and topics, you demonstrate that your performance is reliable and not session-dependent. This dimension rewards consistency. It starts at 20/100 the moment you complete your first session — showing up is itself a resilience signal — and scales toward 100 as your HIRE rate approaches 100%.
Growth Trajectory is the only dimension that requires at least two sessions to activate — because it measures change over time, not a snapshot. It compares your earliest interview score to your most recent rolling average (last 3 sessions). A candidate who started at 4/10 and is now averaging 7.5/10 scores higher on Growth Trajectory than a candidate who has always been at 7/10 and never improved. This dimension is uniquely valuable to employers: it predicts future performance, not just current level. It is also the only metric that rewards persistence and learning agility explicitly.
Passport Strength is the simple average of all five dimension scores. It starts at 0 and fills as you complete activities. A score of 40–60% is typical for a candidate who has done a few sessions. 70%+ puts you in the top tier — and reflects both depth and consistency across all five dimensions.
PRISM maintains ideal five-dimensional profiles for 12 IT role archetypes — from Cloud Engineer and DevOps to CTO and Enterprise Architect. Each role has a different weighting across the five dimensions. A Cloud Engineer needs high Technical Depth and Stress Resilience but moderate EQ. An IT Manager needs high EQ and Communication Style with moderate Technical Depth. PRISM computes the mean absolute deviation between your passport and each role profile and converts it to a match percentage. The three closest matches are shown on your passport.
These are the tools IT candidates most commonly encounter. Each has a legitimate use case — but none of them do what PRISM does.
Every session you complete on InterviUni updates your passport automatically. PRISM is a living profile — it gets more accurate, more nuanced, and more valuable the more you use the platform.
Built exclusively for technology professionals. The competency models, role-fit profiles, EQ scenarios, and scoring rubrics are all calibrated against real IT hiring standards — not generic corporate frameworks.
Every score in PRISM comes from something you did — a completed course, a scored interview answer, a CORE EQ session. Not a questionnaire you filled in. Not an endorsement from a colleague. Verifiable performance.
A single score can't predict whether you'll thrive as a Cloud Engineer vs an IT Manager. PRISM maps your five-dimensional profile to 12 IT role archetypes and tells you which ones you're actually built for — and why.
Your passport belongs to you. You can share it, update it, and take it with you — regardless of which company you're applying to. No employer can see your data unless you choose to share the link.
Growth Trajectory is a dimension that explicitly rewards improvement over time. Candidates who are on the rise score higher than static high-performers. PRISM is designed to identify potential, not just current level.
PRISM is not a proprietary black box with no basis in research. Every dimension maps to an established body of evidence:
